It's been absolutely ages since I posted anything on this blog, so I figured it was probably about time to add another scrumble or two ;-)
Here's a closeup of a section of one (with lots of crochet bullions and a little bit of embroidery) that I did last year (or maybe it was the year before!). If anyone is still reading here, let me know, and I will aim to post a few more photos periodically. I can't promise it will actually be weekly, but for the moment I'll aim for a new addition on Monday mornings, and I'll see how I go.

DeleteI love this and will try again to make bullions as neatly as yours. Keep posting!
ReplyDeletewill do; and have fun with your bullions too; finding a good yarn with a twist that works with your way of crocheting helps enormously. if the yarn starts to un-ply as you wrap it is impossible to make them really neat. since i am right-handed and wrap the working yarn up and over the hook from the back, a z-twisted yarn works best for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's a useful tip. I am still to master the bullion. You have given me the idea to play with different ways to put yrh or maybe swap hands to see if I can get better results.
DeleteI'm a new reader!
ReplyDeletethen i hope you'll enjoy the blog :-)
DeleteGlad you're back, Prudence! Still reading the blog.
